Good morning folks....

It's a beautiful day for the race....the human race, that is.....
We had a wonderful day at the Huron Potawatomi Tribal Complex yesterday for the funeral of our dear friend and sister, Ruth Ann Chivis. I went there to conduct her funeral and to give her a proper send off to our Creator and her relatives who've gone before her. Most folks see funerals as such somber occasions, but I pointed out to those in attendance, about 350 Neshnabs, it should be a Day of Rejoicing, as it is her "going home day".
There were two drum groups in attendance who provided some excellent songs and assisted me in preparing the family and relatives for Ruthie's send off.....
I thank you Arthur and company and John Bush and company for all your help!
Believe me, it was gratefully appreciated.....
Thank you Homer Mandoka and the Huron Potawatomi Tribe for all of your help in giving Ruthie a proper send off. Thank each and everyone of you who made such a memorable occasion for the family and relatives of Ruth Ann. Neshnabek are wonderful people when joined together for the common good, as that is the way our Creator intended for us to be. The very name, Neshnabek, can be translated as "People of good intentions", in special context.

Ya all have a good day and love one another and fulfill your destiny as Neshnabek....

Nin se Neaseno.
